Soft start and soft stop device

SoftCompact® SM2 are soft start modules for three-phase asynchronous motors and operate according to the principle of two-phase phase angle control. One phase of the motor is directly connected to the supply voltage. The voltage in the other two phases increases slowly up to the maximum voltage during ramp-up. SoftCompact® SM2 can fine-tune the torque curve and achieve good soft starting behavior.
