Soft start and soft stop device

SoftCompact® AM is a start-up damping device for three-phase asynchronous motors based on the principle of single-phase phase angle control. Two phases of the motor are directly connected to the supply voltage. The voltage in the third phase rises to the maximum voltage during startup. The starting torque is limited and the mechanical load on the drive is reduced.
